"Demeter" Pendant

The fourth of the Goddess Collection.

Demeter, in Ancient Greece, was worshipped as the goddess of the harvest and agriculture. Her domain covered the crops, grain, food and the earth's fertility, which made her a prominent deity to all people.

I chose Vesuvianite (also known as Idocrase) and Flower Agate to encapsulate my image of her and what she would wear. Demeter's epithets include "Green" and "Great Mother," so I wanted this pendant to be as lush and bountiful as she is.

Comes with a curb chain, and her name is stamped on the back. Designed to be worn long at 60cm in length.
