The disk of Phaistos is shrouded in mystery, with many theories on what it represents, including one that imagines it as a type of alphabet or syllabary, of Greece or possibly the lost city of Atlantis. One of the most interesting explanations is that it is an advanced form of ancient calendar, or a cosmic map where the characters and elements mark the position of the stars.
I wanted to design a necklace with a darker colour palette to really create a spotlight on this little slice of history.
Perfect as a standalone option or you can layer even more as I have done here!
