"Hera" Pendant

The sixth of the Goddess Collection.

Hera, in Ancient Greece, was worshipped as the goddess of women, marriage, and childbirth. She is the queen of the gods and wife of Zeus. Well known for her jealousy and rage over her husbands' countless affairs, and it is these qualities that make her central to some of the greatest myths and legends in Ancient history.

I chose Morganite and Rhodochrosite to encapsulate my image of her and what she would wear. Both are crystals of the heart chakra, associated with women and relationships, and the icy colours especially in the Morganite remind me of her regal status. Dainty details complement the crystals and a pointed arch detail decorates the bottom, inspired by her role in marriage.

Comes with a curb chain, and her name is stamped on the back. Designed to be worn long at 60cm in length.
